Department - Head Chef


We are seeking an innovative and highly organised culinary professional to lead and deliver a diverse food offering across our business. Combining creativity with strong financial and operational awareness, you will ensure the smooth running of our restaurant, deli, and catering operations.


Responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operation of our popular brunch restaurant, curating a weekly changing deli menu, and managing a fresh grab-and-go offering.


Beyond the restaurant, you will lead a varied catering programme, delivering exceptional food experiences for events ranging from intimate corporate lunches to bespoke dining and private hire functions for up to 200 guests. From canape receptions and buffets to brand events and tailored hospitality experiences, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a varied hospitality programme that reflects the ambition and quality of the business.


This position is set to transition into multi‑site management responsibility.


To be successful in this role you will:


  • ensure quality and consistency of food during all stages of production;
  • be fully responsible for the overall operation, progress and timing of various sections within the Kitchen;
  • manage the logistical stock movements across 3 sites;
  • liaise with the bakery for booking and event requirements;
  • the ability to use various back of house systems, manage budgets, control costs and drive profitability;
  • ensure accurate and timely stocktakes are completed, appropriate stock levels are maintained, and ordering is optimised;
  • be accountable for the kitchen financial performance including maintaining and improving on GP targets and staffing costs;
  • participate in the HACCP procedure according to the company’s Food Safety Management System;
  • contribute ideas and actively participate in ongoing menu development;
  • lead by example and uphold professional standards, at all times, providing a source of knowledge and inspiration to all kitchen staff; and
  • responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen service in the absence of the Head Chef.
