The Role

As Host, you’ll be the friendly face welcoming guests to our venue, setting the tone for a warm and memorable hospitality experience from the moment they arrive. You’ll manage bookings, coordinate seating, and provide excellent customer service, helping to create a smooth, organised, and inviting environment for both guests and the team.

We’re looking for a personable, organised individual who loves working with people and thrives in a busy hospitality setting.

In this role you will:

• Greet and welcome guests on arrival with a warm, professional manner;
• Manage reservations and walk-ins, ensuring efficient table allocation and minimal wait times;
• Maintain clear communication with the front-of-house team to coordinate smooth service flow;
• Handle guest enquiries and requests promptly and courteously;
• Assist with setting up the dining area and maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards;
• Support the team during busy periods by assisting with basic front-of-house duties as needed;
• Provide guests with information about the menu, specials, and venue facilities when required;
• Represent the venue positively and uphold brand values at all times.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a hospitality front-of-house role (host, receptionist or similar preferred);
• A friendly, approachable personality with excellent communication skills;
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively;
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure;
• A team-player attitude with a flexible and proactive approach;
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service;
• A professional appearance and attitude.
